2 Transfer to Corsica – hotel change
Drive to St Teresa di Gallura to board the ferry bound for Bonifacio. A guided tour reveals the charms of this town perched on top of steep cliffs, reached with a ride on the sightseeing train. After the tour, continue to Calvi area for dinner and overnight.

3 Bastia and local products tasting
Along with a picturesque fishing port, Bastia also has a very attractive old town to explore with historical landmarks such as the imposing Citadel, steeped in centuries of Corsican heritage. Charming old streets lined with colorful houses in the fascinating center. A stop is provided during the day to enjoy a sample of locally grown products.

4 The Calanches and Ajaccio – hotel change
The Calanches of Piana offer one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline on the island. This almost surreal world of weather-carved pink granite rocks creates a most unusual vista of strangely shaped figures, some up to 300 m high, and others plunging dramatically down towards the turquoise sea below. Continue on to Ajaccio for a guided tour of the main sights.

5 Transfer back to Sardinia – hotel change
Back to San Bonifacio to board the ferry. Upon arrival at the hotel in the Palau area, time at leisure.

6 The Emerald Coast
Tour along the stunning Emerald Coast, which is synonymous with turquoise seas, fabulous coves and oppulence. Stop in Porto Cervo, holiday destination for the rich and famous and main town on the Emerald Coast, before continuing on to Cala di Volpe and Porto Rotondo.
7 La Maddalena and Caprera
The dazzling emerald green waters of the Maddalena Archipelago make a casual observer think that they have landed in paradise. From Palau by boat to La Maddalena, circumnavigation of the island on the breath-taking Strada Panoramica before crossing on to the neighbouring islet of Caprera via the narrow bridge-dam, Ponte Moneta. Return by ferry to Palau.
