First hiking tour through old castles and vineyards to the old town of Canelli. Stop at the birthplace of the first Asti sparkling wine, which has been produced here for over 150 years. Visit of a traditional winery with the characteristic underground cathedral and wine tasting. In the afternoon visit of Alba, the city of the white truffle.

3 The Langhe Shire and wine tasting
A must-do hike to the center of this famous wine region with its typical vineyards. The trail from Monforte to Barolo offers breath-taking views of the surrounding hills. Relaxing break in the picturesque old town and possibility to visit the unique WiMu (the wine museum). The day ends at a winery for a wine tasting.

4 Barbaresco, Neive and truffle hunt
Today’s hike starts in Barbaresco, a nice town whose name is linked to a fine wine, and continues through vineyards and cherry trees in a small valley. Scenic stop at an amazing viewpoint, climb on to an half-barrel-shaped bench and admire the beauty of the landscape. Past poplars and hazelnuts woods, the tour ends in Neive; take a stroll along the village’s tiny streets that roll up in circles, hugging the ancient castle. In the afternoon stop at a farmhouse for a truffle hunt followed by a tasting of local products together with wines of the region.

5 The trail of Vezzolano Abbey and cheese tasting
Beautiful excursion in the Monferrato vineyards countryside to one of the most beautiful churches of Piedmont. Visit of the monastery church of Vezzolano from the XIII century, one of the most important Romanesque churches in the region. In the afternoon visit of a dairy farm for a tasting of the local cheese.
